The Simpsons Tapped Out Overview

The Simpsons Tapped Out has just been outside for a few months and it has already developed quite the following. We are taking a closer look at The Simpsons Tapped Out to see if it is really that great. If you would rather watch than read, the video is posted at the bottom.

The Simpsons Tapped Out Game Play
The Simpsons Tapped outside is a surprisingly easy game to play. It falls to the genre of a building simulation game. Much like Sim City, gamers will reconstruct the city of Springfield after Homer finally screws up in the power plant poor enough to blow off the entire town. Along with the rebuilding, there is a narrative line underneath where Homer has to find his fellow Springfield residents along with his loved ones. So between the two of these, there is always something to do.

Game play is fairly straightforward. In the bottom right hand corner there is the construct menu that you use to add new buildings and decorations around the town. Alongside it is your transfer tool where you can transfer items. Lastly is an option to visit the alternate reality Springfield, which you may do after a day to receive a little additional experience and cash. The bottom left is your task list, experience, money, and donut levels. There’s also a star rating that makes it possible to determine exactly what you need to construct.

The tutorial is fairly long and can be slow going, but as soon as you get passed it you have full control over what goes on and what gets constructed. As you construct new items and buy new land, the game’s characters pop up one by one. Soon you have a bustling city of people to control and even more things to construct.

There isn’t much to mention in this area. The Simpsons Tapped Out game has the exact same look as the TV series. Not the old standard definition series, however the more recent, HD ones or even the movie. Everything is crisp and clear and all the buildings and characters are true to the layouts of the series itself.

1 thing that struck us pretty awesome is the entire cast is voiced by their original voice actors. So no cheap imitations or copied catch phrases from the series. Each character has a short list of unique phrases they will say when you create them do things. This helps gamers further enjoy the experience of The Simpsons Tapped Out.

Considering that the images look exactly like the series, we couldn’t imagine them doing better in this area than they already have.

The Simpsons Tapped Out Replay Value
This is where the game definitely doesn’t shine. It’s meant to be an never ending game, so there is no motivation to go back to the start and play with it. You can proceed, build, tear down, and reconstruct anything at will thus there is no chance of messing something up bad enough to begin over. In addition, even though there are not any buildings, there are figures to control that generate money and experience, and that means you’re never without a means to make money. The game is ever progressing ahead.

Given that the game doesn’t actually end and we can not imagine anyone trying to start over after they’ve gotten far enough in the game, we decided replay value with this game was quite low.

The Simpsons Tapped Out Overall Value
The main point is this game has a lot of content, a lot of things to do, and can be a lot of fun. Rebuilding Springfield is an interesting spin on a Simpsons game also allows the gamer take charge of the very popular animated city in cartoon history. Who would not put Moe’s Tavern right next to the Simpsons’ residence using all the Kwik-E-Mart on the other side?

Add to this the fact that the game looks to be an episode of the Simpsons with the entire cast using their first voices and it is a complete Simpsons experience. If you’re a fan of the series, then it is definitely a must get game. Even when you’re only a fan of building simulations or like Android games, we envision that most would enjoy the game itself.

Something that is interesting about it’s every time you start the game, it will sync up to its servers and download new content when it is available. From the Google Play Store description, it says that it will download up to 175MB on its very first load. So we envision the developers plan on adding more information as time goes and gamers can get it when their game syncs into the servers.

When you add all the content with the full Simpsons experience and factor in the game is free, making The Simpsons Tapped Out an awesome game for anyone. In case it appears up your alley, you can find the simpsons tapped out hack donuts – ideal.
