Last Day on Earth – Tips

Scavenging

One of the first things that you should do if you reside in Last Day on Earth is scavenge for supplies. On the floor, you will notice a variety of supplies available including sticks, grass, and rocks, among other items.

On bottom left corner, there’s an”auto” button that is particularly useful when it comes to scavenging. By activating the button, you will prompt your personality to scavenge items in the region by themselves without having having to guide them and click the”catch” button.

By gathering items, you will not only be able to level your character up, but you will also have the materials needed to craft items such as a Hatchet or even Pickaxe.

Crafting

Once you’ve mastered the art of scavenging in Last Day on Earth, you will need to make use of your crafting skills. One of the best items to craft would be a house. This can be achieved by tapping on the structure button under your mini map.

Once you click the button, a grid will open up and building choices will appear down in the bottom. To craft a house, you will need to put down flooring first, then walls. Every ground and wall costs one walnut log each, so in the event that you don’t have enough, you are going to want to scavenge more.

To make your house functional, you will want to craft items such as a Campfire, Small Box (which lets you store 12 things ), and a Garden Bed (which lets you grow carrots which bump up your food supply).

With scavenging, crafting, and house building from the way, another step towards mastering Last Day on Earth is exploration. Once you get to level 2, you will be able to craft a fundamental Backpack which expands your stock by 8 thing spaces.

Before you craft your fundamental Backpack, you are reliant on your own jacket which has limited amounts of storage space. Until you craft a fundamental Backpack, you should stick inside the green safe area.

Once your Basic Backpack is crafted and you are ready to venture out, you will want to pay attention to this location indicator above an area which tells you that the”density” of the region. The higher the density, the more resources and materials you’ll discover.

Unfortunately, high-density areas also contain more zombies, many of whom are tougher than the ones you’ll encounter in your green safe spawn area. Until you craft better weapons and armor, you will want to keep yourself in green protected areas (basically, don’t wander too far).

Army Drops and Military Bases

While enjoying Last Day on Earth, you will likely encounter military supply crate drops and Military Bases.

If you are able, you will want to search these crates down as a way to conjure a few high quality loot. In addition, you will encounter Military Bases which are fixed Points of Interest (meaning they don’t vanish ).

You’ll require a Security Key Card in order to investigate these Military Bases, and you can typically acquire one from lifeless zombies and/or players. Indoors these Military Bases are supplies and valuable resources (such as weapons) so also try and explore them if you are able.

Combat

All around you are dangerous zombies in addition to hostile players. In order to live in Last Day on Earth, you will need to be ready for a struggle at all times. One of the first weapons you can craft is a Spear.

This weapon is quite slow, and is best used on zombies such as expertise. In other cases, you will want to use sneak attacks to prevent your opponent from getting the initial swing. To perform a sneak attack, you will want to tap on the Crouch button on the bottom right corner.

While Crouched, you are more difficult to spot. Use this to your advantage and move up behind an enemy prior to moving. This is going to end in a deadly strike, one which may instantly kill lesser enemies such as zombies and other new (unprepared) players.

To avoid extra battle (in case you’re injured) pay attention to a minimap. If you see a red dot heading straight for you, run. This blip is a quick Biter or enemy player.

As you don’t know which one you are dealing with, you are going to want to circle around and throw them, or let them be and go in a different direction.

Leveling Up

Eventually, when leveling up is crucial to mastering Last Day on Earth. The higher your level, the better your blueprints and craft items will be. Furthermore, you will have more wellness and choices available to you.

As such, try and reach level 10 as swiftly as possible. Why degree 10? Well, at level 10 you can craft your very first pair of fundamental armor. This is vital, as it’ll keep you alive for more than wandering about nude.
