The same is true for power-ups on such stages: if you use a Bomb that is currently on Carpet, any tiles it clears will benefit Carpet. However, if you use a Bomb that is not on Carpet, then it will only clear the tiles-it will not include Carpet to them. In case a Rocket crosses Carpet while clearing a row or column, any tiles it clears after it hits Carpet will become Carpeted.
Cookies and Boxes may both be eliminated by fitting next to them. But, Boxes cannot be transferred or swapped while Cookies may -you may make a match by swapping a Cookie tile with a different tile. However while Boxes allow power-ups to journey through them (a Rocket that hits a Box will last past it and split anything outside the Box), Cookies don’t (a Rocket that hits a Cookie will crack the Cookie and stop).
You can move tiles to empty spaces to make matches. And on stages where tiles do not just fall straight down, a gust of wind will blow occasionally to remind you of the direction the tiles move.
Renovating the House
When you are not enjoying the match-3 levels and earning stars, you can spend those stars to finish house-related tasks with Austin. Harness the bottom-left checkmark menu to open your tablet and see with your To-Do List. As the story progresses, you will have multiple assignments on this list, some of that cost more stars than others. You don’t ever need to finish a task to unlock new mystery stages, but finishing a day-denoted by the percentage of tasks you have completed on peak of the tab-will give you bonus prizes such as coins and power-up Boosters.
Unlike in Gardenscapes, you don’t recover your endurance by completing a day, so there’s no reason to hold off on doing so. There is also now no daily wheel for earning money, so these finish of day benefits are extremely valuable. Coins continue to be handed out in very limited amounts at the end of stages-you will rarely earn greater than 70 coins for a very good game-so we recommend saving your money unless there’s a point you are just tired of attempting.
You may go back and edit any furniture or decorations you have fixed and change the design to one of those other options, although you will need to pay a tiny amount of coins to unlock different styles. While this menu is up, you are able to tap some other editable objects to alter them too.

Every mystery level in The Homescapes will have a specific victory condition. This usually involves collecting or eliminating a particular type and amount of tiles.
